OUR STORY

Oak Hill Farm and Stables is a historic property located in the Shepherd's community area of Mooresville, NC. The farm was established by the Shinn family in 1919. Calvin Tilden Shinn Sr built the barn and house and started the farm. His son, Calvin Tilden Shinn Jr, grew up on the farm. Terry Shinn and his sister used to visit the farm many times before their grandpa sold most of the land, including the barn, old granary, and old well house, along with the house that is now on the property.

At Oak Hill Farm, we offer a diverse range of services and products in a convenient location just off I77 and North of Charlotte. We provide overnight horse boarding for traveling equestrians, serve as dog breeder, sell AKC registered Golden Retrievers, sell AKC registered Australian Shepherds, raise bunnies, sell fresh farm eggs, and sell other seasonal produce. Our products are 100% organic and GMO-free. We take pride in our commitment to quality and sustainability.
